Christchurch, under my feet

I've lost count of the number of times I visited Port Hills; be it Elizabeth Park, Victoria Park, or the Sign of Takahe.

Part of the Port Hills.

Stunning view from Elizabeth Park.

The historic Sign of Takahe.

Perhaps it is one of the best-loved landscapes in Christchurch. In contrast to the flatness of the Canterbury Plains, I can overlook the panoramic views of Christchurch below my feet. On a clear day, even the Southern Alps!

The whole Christchurch!

Be it scenic drive or lookouts, the photogenic view is going to take your breath away! Hence, this is a place that I normally bring first-timer in Christchurch for a visit. Of course, I brought my family and boyfriend to Port Hills during their visit!

Sisters together.

Soaring high.

My bf and I.

There are also many walkways around Port Hills, exploring the crater rim. Perhaps I will explore the Crater Rim Walkway some times. Anyone keen to do so? Hehe!

Tussock grasslands and rugged rock.

Hills and valley.

I guess, no matter how many times I've been to the same place, it's the company that matters. Don't you think so?

At the summit again with friends, after dinner.

Or simply, enjoy the scenery, look at the moon, and think of loved one. ;p

One of my favourite shots.
